Most trade businesses like yours can't — not because they're struggling, but because nothing runs without the owner. We build the documentation and systems that make your day-to-day presence optional, so you can retire with real income instead of selling for pennies or shutting the doors — and your crew keeps their jobs.
A short, honest read on whether your business would survive if you stepped back today — and roughly what's at risk if you tried to sell or retire right now. No build commitment, no pitch.
We document what only you currently know, fix how pricing and money get tracked, and build whichever other systems your business actually needs. About 30 days, and it's our work, not yours.
A genuine 30-day test: you step back and the business runs. If it doesn't, we keep working at no extra cost until it does — the final payment isn't due until the test actually passes.
Through the actual handoff — a sale, a family member, an employee, or just a reduced role for you — we make sure the systems hold up once you've genuinely stepped back.
Five core pieces, configured for your business, not sold as separate tiers. Documentation leads — it's the actual product you're paying for. The rest are included as your business needs them.
This isn't priced like a small automation add-on, because it isn't one — the deliverable is making your day-to-day presence optional, the difference between a business that sells for real value and one that closes with you. Pricing is discussed directly, once we understand what your business actually needs — not posted as a number on a page.
The build targets roughly 30 days. After that, you step away from the business for a real 30-day test. If it runs a normal week without you, we're done and final payment is collected. If it doesn't, we keep working at no additional cost — final payment isn't due until the test actually passes.
For key-person professional-service businesses (where the owner is the expert, not just the manager), the test is scoped instead to hiring and onboarding a capable replacement — a longer milestone, not a lesser guarantee.

Perpetual Order LLC ("Perpetual Order," "we," "us," or "our") helps retiring trade-business owners build the documentation and systems their business needs to operate without them. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Handoff Test, the Succession System Build, and related services.
From prospective and current clients:
We do not sell personal or business information. Documentation and operational knowledge captured during a build remain the property of the client (see Terms of Service, Section 7). We share information only with service providers necessary to deliver our services, or when required by law or court order.
Assessment and build documentation is retained for the duration of the engagement and any active retainer/credit balance. Upon request or engagement close, clients may request an export or deletion of their data, subject to standard business recordkeeping requirements. Account and billing information is retained for 3 years following engagement close for legal and tax compliance.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information. Contact us at admin@perpetualorder.com to exercise these rights.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Perpetual Order LLC's services. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full. Specific project scope, deliverables, and any additional terms are confirmed in a signed engagement agreement before the Succession System Build begins.
Perpetual Order offers a free Succession Readiness Assessment ("Handoff Test") and the Succession System Build: a documentation- and systems-building engagement (SOPs, job & pricing tracking, lead capture, client onboarding, and tool consolidation as needed) intended to reduce a trade business's dependence on its owner, plus transition support through the client's actual handoff.
The Handoff Test is a free readiness assessment with no purchase or build commitment required. Results are directional and based on information the client provides; they are not a guarantee of business valuation or saleability.
Pricing for the Succession System Build, available payment plan options, the standby retainer, and any applicable referral discount are provided directly during the sales conversation and documented in full in Client's signed engagement agreement before work begins. This website does not publish specific pricing.
The Succession System Build targets a build timeline of approximately 30 days, followed by a 30-day guarantee test during which Client refrains from day-to-day involvement in the business so its actual independence from Client can be verified. If the business does not operate a normal week without Client's involvement during the test, Provider will continue work at no additional charge until it does; the final installment of Client's chosen payment plan is not due until the guarantee test is passed. For key-person professional-service engagements, the guarantee test is instead scoped to the identification, hiring, and onboarding of a capable replacement, and may take longer than 30 days by mutual agreement, reflecting the different nature of that outcome.
Payment schedules are set by the payment plan selected under Section 4. Failure to remit a scheduled payment may result in a pause of build work until payment is received, as detailed in the client's signed engagement agreement.
All documentation, SOPs, and business-specific materials produced during a Succession System Build are the property of the client upon full payment. Perpetual Order retains ownership of its own methodology, templates, and any reusable tooling used to deliver the engagement.
Either party may cancel an in-progress engagement per the terms of the signed engagement agreement. Amounts already paid for completed work are non-refundable outside of the guarantee described in Section 5; amounts paid for work not yet performed are refunded on a pro-rata basis.
Provider's total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for a specific sale price, valuation, or business outcome beyond the guarantee described in Section 5.
Any dispute shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules, with a single arbitrator in Ada County, Idaho, or remotely by mutual agreement. Class action waiver applies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Venue: Ada County, Idaho.
